The UBC Divisions of Cardiology & Cardiovascular Surgery offer expedited referrals to General Cardiology Clinics for urgent patients at both St. Paul’s Hospital (SPH) and Vancouver General Hospital (VGH). We also have numerous Specialty Clinics to address various cardiac conditions at SPH, VGH, and UBC Hospital. For referrals to specific cardiologists at either hospital, please fax the regional referral form to the cardiologist’s office.

    The General Cardiology Clinic at St. Paul’s Hospital provides timely assessment of patients with cardiac symptoms or known cardiac conditions, with subsequent investigations, diagnosis, and longitudinal care. Click here to learn more.

  • BC Inherited Arrhythmia Program (BCIAP) at SPH

    The BC Inherited Arrhythmia Clinic accepts referrals for suspected or known diagnosis of an inherited arrhythmia (Long QT syndrome, catecholaminergic polymorphic ventricular tachycardia, arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy, Brugada syndrome, sudden unexplained cardiac arrest and sudden unexpected death, some hypertrophic cardiomyopathy).  Click here to learn more.

    Sarcoidosis is an inflammatory condition involving infiltration of granulomas into various tissues, most commonly the lungs.     St Paul’s Hospital is home to British Columbia’s only heart transplant program.
