We are delighted to present the updates and changes at Surrey Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Calvin Tong, Co-Director of the Heart Function Clinic, has initiated a Cardiac Amyloid Clinic, which is a first in Fraser Health.
Dr. Tong has specialty training in Heart Failure and Cardiac Transplantation from Stanford University. Dr. Tong also has expertise in the investigation and management of patients with Cardiac Amyloid and his clinic is now accepting new referrals.
Dr. Matthew Chamberlain, a recent hire from Ontario, has initiated a long awaited Stress Echo program. Dr. Chamberlain did an echo fellowship at VGH before moving to Kitchener Waterloo where he had a busy practice. Dr Chamberlain was attracted to Surrey Cardiology having done some locum placements there previously.
