  • “Working Rounds” for Cardiology/Cardiac Surgery

Fellows’ duties/rounds to medical residents/students

  • CCU St. Paul’s teaching
  • CCU VGH teaching
  • CCU St. Paul’s biweekly Friday noon
  • Presentation at medical residents’ academic half days (optional)
  • Clinical exam/ECG teaching series (optional)

Fellows’ duties/rounds to cardiology fellows

  • Cardiology Academic Half Day presentation
  • Monday journal club sessions
  • Senior resident exam scenario teaching

Research Responsibilities

  • Research presentation at Internal Medicine Resident Research Day – annual event (mandatory)
  • Research presentation at Cardiology Resident Research Day – annual event (mandatory)
  • Research noon rounds – St. Paul’s Hospital

Academic activities – mandatory attendance

  • Monday am interventional teaching rounds
  • Monday am echo teaching
  • Tuesday am staff teaching
  • Academic Half Day staff presentations
